Privacy
DISRUPT Time is a Chrome extension for the people who work at DISRUPT. It helps them count their working hours per client for the DISRUPT Workspace, the company's internal site. It does nothing for anyone else.
What leaves the computer
Only the hours a person confirms: the day, the client, the minutes and the way they were counted (Manual, Suggest or Automatic). They are handed to the Time page of the DISRUPT Workspace (work.disrupt.co.kr) only when the person presses Save there. The extension itself never calls a server.
What stays on the computer
- The way the person chose, running timers and hours not confirmed yet.
- With Automatic only: the sites and page titles used, so the person can check the day. They are deleted after 14 days, or when the person picks another way.
What it never does
- It never reads the screen, keystrokes, page content or passwords.
- It never sells or shares data, never shows ads and never uses data for anything but counting working hours.
- Only the Workspace site can talk to it.
Permissions
- Storage: keeps the chosen way, timers and unconfirmed hours on this computer.
- Alarms: counts the minutes while a timer runs or Automatic is on.
- Idle: stops counting after 2 minutes without using the computer, or when the screen locks or the computer sleeps.
- Tabs: asked only if the person picks Suggest or Automatic, to see which client the tab they are on belongs to. Manual gives it back.
Your choices
Each person picks how much the extension notices, can pause it any time, can delete any day in Review my day, and can correct or remove saved hours on the Time page. Removing the extension deletes everything it kept on the computer.
